A week of conservation and maintenance work to support the woodland of Chithurst Buddhist Monastery from 7th until 14th July 2018.
Work will include general woodland and heathland management, pond restoration and pathway repairs. Some activities can be physical, but most can be carried out by men and women of average fitness. Sturdy boots and work clothes are essential.
Guided wildlife walks, led by local experts will start & finish at the workshop. They will involve a 2-3 hour slow walk over some rough paths and steep slopes.
Residential accommodation is camping for both men and women. Please bring your own camping equipment. Day visits are welcome by prior arrangement.
